Growing up, I have always been an introvert. I was that kid that sat on the side lines watching everything around me. I enjoy observing the intricate details of life - the color, the smell, the personality, how people move in it, etc. As I got older, that joy in details grew into an admiration for photography and the ability to tell a story in a single snap shot. So whenever I get a free moment to pick up my camera, I do it! It's been a long time coming, but I am officially done with school (FOREVER, woot woot)! I'm a full time sonographer, working two jobs, trying to balance my career and my love for photography. I spend all day imaging people's insides and during my spare time I like to image people's outside :) Photography is one of my favorite past times, but with only so many hours in a day, it remains my hobby. Thus, I will be available for limited portrait sessions.

That's a little about me... now, tell me about you! I look forward to hearing from you.

Elle, Timmy, & Mommy

Thinking of these kids always puts a smile on my face-- and spending time with them fills my heart. They have such big hearts and even bigger spirits.

They remind me that being a kid means to be carefree and full of life and love. Somewhere along the way we grow up and lose sense of all that. Life becomes a routine and sometimes a struggle. Struggle to pay the bills, struggle to keep our chin high, or just a struggle to get through the day.

Life is sweet and life is simple. Let's enjoy it!

Elle & Timmy,

Thanksgiving in Lodi with the Family

Just before our Thanksgiving festivities we snuck away to take a few quick family portraits. This was my fastest photo session by far. It literally took me seconds to do each family because it was freezing and because the rest of the family was quickly arriving, not allowing any time to dilly dally around!

The first pictures cracks me up. This has got to be the "true" family portrait... or at least the "before" of every photo.

Melia's 4 Year Old Portrait

I've been photographing Melia ever since I got my first DSLR camera and she was only a few months old. She is my beautiful niece and this last September she turned four. She is has so much personality and is so much fun to be with. Chris and I watched http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifher for a few hours and took her out to do her 4 year old shoot. She is such a ham and it shows in these photos. This is my favorite photo session of her thus far. I'm sad that she lives far away and that I only get to see her every few months. Hopefully they'll move back closer to us sooner rather than later!
