Growing up, I have always been an introvert. I was that kid that sat on the side lines watching everything around me. I enjoy observing the intricate details of life - the color, the smell, the personality, how people move in it, etc. As I got older, that joy in details grew into an admiration for photography and the ability to tell a story in a single snap shot. So whenever I get a free moment to pick up my camera, I do it! It's been a long time coming, but I am officially done with school (FOREVER, woot woot)! I'm a full time sonographer, working two jobs, trying to balance my career and my love for photography. I spend all day imaging people's insides and during my spare time I like to image people's outside :) Photography is one of my favorite past times, but with only so many hours in a day, it remains my hobby. Thus, I will be available for limited portrait sessions.

That's a little about me... now, tell me about you! I look forward to hearing from you.

Sara's Senior Portraits

While in Lodi for Thanksgiving I did a quick shoot for Sara because she needed some photos for her yearbook, and I was happy to oblige :)

Happy Holidays!

Here are some impromptu photo sessions of my family... sort of last minute to make and send our holiday cards! *Still trying to get my parents in on the picture fun*

The Mamoulelis'

The Giesbrechts

And because they are so cute, here's a little more of Elle and Timmy.

The Tangs

Beier Family

Since school was so hectic, I wanted to get out and do a little shoot. I was so glad that Nina, my classmate, asked me to do a little shoot for her and her family. It was sort of tough nailing down a date since our weekends were filled with studying. And of course when we did have time, it was pouring rain. Luckily, it cleared up just enough one day for us to give the go ahead and do the shoot.

Here are just a few photos of the lovely family. Enjoy :)

I'm Alive!

I am indeed alive. I know I haven't been posting at all; that's because my life is sort of revolving around this program. I'm on my break now and thought I'd write a short note :)

I've made it through my first quarter at LLU and am having a great time. I have to say, I love what I do and feel so blessed to be on this path! So please forgive me as I will likely neglect this blog, only posting when I have time to breathe.

With all the studying, I did miss my camera so I was able to do a few small shoots with some of my friends. One being for one of my closest friends, Rachel and Dan who just recently had a baby girl. Her name is Sydney. She is just so yummy and to die for. I got to see her shortly after birth and got to snap a few photos. Then this last weekend I was able to again, and I am amazed at how much they grow. Here are a few photos of the little munchkin, as her momma likes to call her.

Here she is at 10 days old.

Here she is at 9 weeks old.

I love this picture with her uncle Andrew. It's just so sweet.
