Growing up, I have always been an introvert. I was that kid that sat on the side lines watching everything around me. I enjoy observing the intricate details of life - the color, the smell, the personality, how people move in it, etc. As I got older, that joy in details grew into an admiration for photography and the ability to tell a story in a single snap shot. So whenever I get a free moment to pick up my camera, I do it! It's been a long time coming, but I am officially done with school (FOREVER, woot woot)! I'm a full time sonographer, working two jobs, trying to balance my career and my love for photography. I spend all day imaging people's insides and during my spare time I like to image people's outside :) Photography is one of my favorite past times, but with only so many hours in a day, it remains my hobby. Thus, I will be available for limited portrait sessions.

That's a little about me... now, tell me about you! I look forward to hearing from you.

The Passion of Tailor Made

For a while now, I've been working with Shawn Xa, owner of Tailor Made, to create a catalog of for his goodies. We started out several months ago with just cookies, but since then, he has expanded his flavors into biscottis and brownies. But he's not stopping there. He's going to translate his flavors into cupcakes, mini pies, ice cream, creme brulee, you name it, he'll make it!

It's always refreshing for me to chat with Shawn. He is the epitome of doing what you love and love what you are doing! He's such a passionate person, and it shows in his food. His goal is simple-- to make good, fresh food, and to share all of it with the world.

Just to prove how passionate he is, here are some of the flavors: Banana Nut, Peach Cobbler, Apple Pie, Pomegranate, Apple Rum Raisin, Blueberry Brandy, Grand Marnier Chocolate Strawberry, Oolong Green Tea, Carmel Pecan, Pineapple Coconut Rum, Cherry Pistachio, Carrot Cake, Madagascar Vanilla, and it just goes on!

I'll have to go back and compile a set of his cookies, but here are the biscottis.

And then his brownies. They are to die for!
