Thai Binh and Cathy | Engagement

Thai Binh and Cathy... first thing that comes to mind: Hardcore Laker fans! Second thing that comes to mind: baby talk. LOL. This couple is notorious for their sweet talk. I won't go into the names, but let's just say that they're really in love!

I met Cathy several years ago through my sister Catherine (btw, check out her blog) and have been friends with Cathy ever since. What I love about Cathy is that when you're friends, you're friends for good! She will always be by your side, even if you don't talk or see each other all of the time. Then she met Thai Binh and it's like yin and yang; Bonnie and Clyde. They just complete each other. I'm happy to have Thai Binh as my friend now too!

I'm excited to attend their Laker-colored inspired wedding next month! Cathy is going to look fabulous!

OC Photog Shootout

Last night I got to participate in the OC Photog Shootout and I'm so glad I did. I learned so much and met some really great people. It's so nice to know that I'm not the only person trying to figure "this whole thing" out. And, it was especially nice to be in Sarah K. Chen's group to learn the tricks of the trade from only the best! Yay for great mentorship!

I'd like to thank you Hanssie and Matt for organizing the event. It was a lot of fun and so so valuable!

Welcome to my new blog

Hi bloggers! Welcome to my new home. I hope you enjoy following me along on my photographical journey... Please be patient with me as I try to figure out a few glitches... I know the links to each of the categories are not working right now.

Vince and Mary | Wedding

Married! On October 3rd, on a perfectly cool, crisp autumn day Vince and Mary tied the knot! Let me tell you. If you've been in a long relationship that sort of lost the love and tenderness that you once had with your significant other, the cure would be to spend the day with these two! They've been together... eight years (correct me if I'm wrong Mary + Vince)and it seems like they just met! They are so sweet together that they gave me goose bumbs! They could not stop looking giddily at each other, stealing kisses every chance they got. I didn't have to tell them to kiss while we were shooting because it just came so natural.

I am so happy that I was able to capture their special day for them. This is what weddings are all about! LOVE! Not invitations or decorations! Just love. Just Vince and just Mary. Congratulations you two... and thank you for reminding me why I married my hubby :)
